What is a custom component?

You’ll often see us sharing information about the fact we produce ‘custom components’. It’s a service we’re really proud of, as it’s a great example of the ways we solve problems and create new ideas to make your life easier.

But what does ‘bespoke’ really mean? And how do we take your ideas and build something that works perfectly?

We have a talented team

Nothing would be possible at Elite Fasteners without the people who make up our team. Using specialised drawing skills, they design your product in-house. They have so much experience, knowledge, and skill – and they bring that straight to the product they create. So, when it comes to talent and ideas, they have both in abundance.

We listen to you

There’s a huge stock of fasteners and fixings here at Elite Fasteners. But as every project is unique, there are times when the off-the-shelf components just aren’t quite the perfect problem solvers. In these cases, you tell us the challenge you’re facing, what you need the product to do, and we’ll create it to deliver to your exact specification.

We never forget the finish

The priority always needs to be a tool that does the job. But we still always remember the final finish, knowing how appearance is also incredibly important. If you choose, we follow a chemical blackening process – using black oxide to cause a reaction that produces a black coating. Not only does this offer a sleek finish, but it also provides some corrosion protection.

We provide samples

Getting your component just right is crucial – even more so when you need to order large quantities. To make sure we get it spot on, we can provide samples – giving you chance to test everything before you commit to a large order. It’s all about making sure your unique component is customised perfectly, every time.

Having a look through our range and struggling to find the perfect part? Our bespoke service, led by our experienced team, will create the perfect custom component for you.
