What is CFA approval?

Elite Fasteners is part of the Construction Fixings Association (CFA). The CFA is a trade association of major manufacturers committed to raising ‘industry standards to the highest level of quality and safety in the selection and installation of safety critical fixings’. As certified distributors, CFA have validated that we meet their exceptionally high standards of customer service, technical support and commercial integrity.

Alongside approval, we’re also CFA Approved Testers. In fact, we’re one of only 11 approved CFA testers in the UK able to carry out independent testing both onsite and in-house, providing onsite pull testing if required. This means we’ve been assessed as capable of testing the majority of construction fixings to a high standard. We’ve also proven we have exceptional knowledge of how fixings work.
